![]() ![]() ![]() I am completely stuck after hours of troubleshooting, and I'm wondering if the answer is something extremely dumb and simple that I'm just missing. So whenever someone online says "it's easy! Just click the icon in Kontakt 7", I'm just instantaneously lost because I simply don't have the same icons in Kontakt 7 haha. For example, I see a ribbon with "File Library View" whereas the "typical" Kontakt 7 interface ribbon shows a series of five icons, and the word "Kontakt" is in a completely different font as well (I have attached captioned pictures for reference comparing what I see versus what everyone else sees). This is true for when I open Kontakt 7 in my DAW or if I open it as a standalone application. ![]() ![]() However, for some reason my Kontakt 7 user interface looks completely different from the Kontakt 7 used in all instructional videos online and on the Native Instruments website/in the manual, making it extremely difficult for me to initially learn the software's functionality and follow along, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why my interface doesn't look the same as everyone else's. I am fairly certain I did all that correctly. I already had Native Access, then I installed the full version of Kontakt 7 through my Native Access, and then I located the installation path of the Kontakt 7 full version and opened it as a standalone application on my computer (Mac). I recently decided to purchase the full version of Kontakt 7 (I purchased the crossgrade bundle, but as I mentioned, I already have the free Kontakt Player and so as I understand it the crossgrade is still the full version of Kontakt). I have successfully purchased a couple of libraries for the free Kontakt Player (and learned how to use them in my DAW), but other than that, I am basically a complete newbie in the world of virtual instruments and VSTs. Hello, forgive me but I don't know where else to go for answers. ![]()
